Un-hijacked...

I've played it a bit and I don't see much different from the beta. The thing that kills me is the sound. I just don't get a feeling of where things are and that frustrates me.

The only way I get a lot of kills is in a vehicle or on a mounted gun. I'm just over a one to one ratio.

I also almost always lose a close battle, not sure why. Maybe my video card is not fast enough.

well there definitely is a big plus to this game and that is that we can have our own server and get recruits back into the clan whereas it seems that MW2 that isn't happening.

There is a huge tourney starting next week, with a LAN for $10k in prize money in Boston. If your team finishes top 4 in the online tourney MYIS will give your team $2500 to get to Boston and play the LAN tourney.

I am going to be helping to admin that event so I will get some feedback as to how it plays in comp.

Only played a few hours in multi so far.

Seems like a fun game, and it would be fun to play with friends on vent in a squad rather than just pubbing. No prone is annoying. It seems to take a million bullets to kill someone. Takes forever to level up. EA servers, friends list, are screwed up ATM but a patch should be out soon.

I am having trouble getting the game to run smooth. I get about the same frame rate in 1680x1050 on all LOW settings as I do at 1900x1200 on all HIGH settings. My computer doesnt have a problem maxing most games, so maybe its a software bug...

specs are q6600, 3gb ddr2 800, gtx 260 core 216

I think you can get your money out of it for 50$. Reminds me alot of crysis wars.

It is just like the Beta, when you start out your guns are crap, after you play a bit you get "perks" and better guns. When you start out you are at the bottom of the ladder for sure.

Kabam and I played with Pen cap yesterday for a few rounds and it was a lot more fun than when you play with random people. We helped each other out, PenCap is a little reviving machine lol. Saved my ass bunches.

Kabam and I played together later and again we could work on targets together and re-supply etc. Reminded me a bit of BF2 at those times. When I play alone, it feels a little more empty.

I don't understand why they did some things in the game, for instance you take the medic kit, you think you will be able to heal people? nope not till you score 5000 medic points then you get a med kit you can drop on the ground.

Want to revive someone? forget it not till you have 14k medic points. Kind of odd to be a medic in the field, people are hollaring at you to save them and all you can do is run away.

But the point come pretty easily actually. You can even get points by joining an empty Rush server, and blowing up all the consoles.

It has some bugs still but hopefully they will patch it soon.

My only motivation for picking up this game is the same as General's. Would love to all come together on one game and play. General and I have realized we are never going to get some of you to cough up for MW2, but I will say again it would be a lot of fun to play as a group. IW may not have given us all the features we wanted, but the game is tight and really well done all the way around (and you can prone!)

So far I haven't really read anything about BFBC2 that's compelling enough to buy it.

yeah sad thing is that they have been working on this game for along time and even had a beta yet it still needs a patch as soon as its released...thats crazy talk..hmm, thought the whole purpose of the beta was to work out bugs.. guess not...oh well another bites the dust...if u bought this game, youshould beable to pick up a used copy of mw2 and check it out...
